Frequently Asked Questions

What sensitivity do most Valorant pros use?

Most VCT professionals use 800 DPI with in-game sensitivities between 0.28 and 0.45, resulting in eDPI of 220–360. Lower eDPI (under 300) is popular among players who rely on precise aiming, while higher eDPI suits more aggressive styles.

What is eDPI in Valorant and how do I calculate it?

eDPI = Mouse DPI × In-game Sensitivity. For example, 800 DPI × 0.350 sens = 280 eDPI. It lets you compare sensitivities across players regardless of their DPI settings.

What crosshair do most Valorant pros use?

White and cyan are the most common crosshair colors at the pro level. Most pros use small static crosshairs with short lines and no dot, or a pure dot crosshair. Outlines are a personal preference — some pros enable them for visibility against busy backgrounds.

Why do Valorant pros use 1920×1080 resolution?

Unlike CS2, almost all Valorant pros play at 1920×1080 (native 16:9). Valorant's UI and competitive map design rewards a wide field of view, making stretched resolutions less useful than in CS2.

What mouse Hz (polling rate) do Valorant pros use?

Most Valorant pros use 360Hz or 240Hz monitors. Logitech and Razer mice support 4000Hz polling rates which reduces input latency, but 1000Hz is standard across the field.
